Fifth Week

1.Dr.Schafer has come to the lab at UNT, give me some instructions, I have learned a lot today.Thanks,Dr.Schafer.
2.We have finished 2 tests today, monotonic and cyclic. I am dealing the data and make a brief report.
3.Okay,here comes the pictures.

For the monotonic one

 There is a gap btn the bottom track and the base,in fact,the shear wall is lifted up.The reason is there is a big hole on the base, the washer is bending.other test use the stiffer one to avoid this.

 During the test, the OSB touch the base.We need to cut the board shorter to avoid this.

hold downs:no screws pull out or cut off.

For the cyclic one

 There is a gap btn the board and strap.
